These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Velurai OÜ ("DropTidy," "we," "us," or "our"), a private limited company registered in Estonia, registry code 17355279, with its principal office located at Järvevana tee 9, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia. DropTidy is a registered trademark and operating name of Velurai OÜ. See: Estonian Company Registry.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using the Service, or accessing any part of the DropTidy platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

DropTidy provides a digital tool to remove metadata from images and videos, including:

  • GPS location
  • Camera/device details
  • Timestamps
  • User comments and EXIF metadata

The platform is available as a web and desktop application.

3. User Accounts and Security

  • Provide accurate and complete registration details
  • Keep your credentials secure and confidential
  • Inform us immediately if your account is compromised
  • Accept responsibility for activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or unauthorized content
  • Circumvent usage limits or security controls
  • Interfere with servers or networks
  • Use bots or automated tools without permission
  • Upload malware or harmful code
  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights

5. Content Ownership and Processing

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all files you upload.
  • License to Process: You grant us a limited license to process your files solely to provide the Service.
  • Deletion Policy: Original files are deleted within 24 hours; cleaned files within 7 days.
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for the legality of your uploaded content.
  • Representation: You warrant that you have the rights to upload such content and that it does not infringe third-party IP or data protection rights.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance or incidents may cause temporary downtime.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, code, design, and branding belong to Velurai OÜ.
  • You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service.
  • We may use feedback you submit to improve the platform.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We comply with GDPR. See our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not store credit card data. Payments are processed by Stripe.

10. Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations or legal requirements.
  • You may cancel anytime. Your data will be deleted as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

  • The Service is provided "as is" with no warranties.
  • We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or business interruption.
  • Liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
  • This limit does not apply to fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
  • This Service does not provide legal or forensic guarantees. You should verify results independently if used in sensitive contexts.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Velurai OÜ from any claims related to your use of the Service, your content, or violations of these Terms.

13. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will first be addressed by contacting legal@droptidy.com.
  • Unresolved disputes will go to binding arbitration in Tallinn, Estonia.
  • Class actions and jury trials are waived.
  • You may opt-out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing us.
  • Small claims court cases are permitted where applicable.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. The courts of Tallinn have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Notice will be provided via email or in-app. Continued use = acceptance.

16. Export Restrictions

You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of EU or Estonian export control laws.

18. Third-Party Services

Our Service may rely on third-party infrastructure or integrations (e.g., Stripe, Supabase, analytics providers). We are not liable for any service interruptions or issues caused by them. You acknowledge and accept their terms when using integrated services.
